The Arrow OCS Platform Builder Program offers Arrow's customers a variety of unbranded systems that have been pre-tested for component compatibility and compliance certifications like (FCC Class-B (or Class-A for RackMount Platforms),CE , CSA (UL))
The Arrow OCS Platform Builder Plus Program allows for minimal or maximum customization to any standard configuration (i.e. custom bios, customer image, and additional component(s))
Utilizing these two programs enables a faster turn time while providing:
- Breadth of Product Offerings – A full range of platforms, from TTM cutting-edge to long-life, from small footprint, low-end systems to high-performance rackmount platforms
- High-Quality Components – PFB systems are built using top-quality components from the industry's leading OEMs
- High-Quality Manufacturing Techniques – Arrow's “cell-based” Lean Manufacturing Methodology translates into high-quality end products
- Revision Control – Prompt ECNs, Errata and EOL announcements at the major component level enable our customers to make adjustments if the announcements impact their application
- Time-to-Market Solutions – Customers can utilize the PFB system for a TTM solution and, over time, convert to a PFB+ build that better suits their specific needs
- Life-Cycle Management – Many PFB systems have 3+ year life-cycles; however, upon EOL, Arrow can convert the platform into a custom build and manage the solution until the customer is ready to receive its next generation replacement
