The Arrow Lighting Simplicity Kit, featuring a Control Board, and a remote HB-LED board, utilizes the latest embedded technologies. This exciting new reference design and demonstration platform showcases a modular design for wireless control of solid-state lighting technology and can be easily adapted to a variety of lighting applications.
The 'brain' of the system, the control board processes input from touch sensors and an ambient light sensor. Commands are sent to the remote board via an IEEE 802.15.4® wireless connection. It manages the control and calculation of the HB-LED levels and changes due to user input, temperature measurements, and ambient light readings. The control board can be either battery operated or powered from an external DC power supply.

This second board receives commands from the control board via an IEEE 802.15.4 wireless connection and adjusts the LEDs. The remote HB-LED board also takes a local temperature measurement and makes the result available to the control board. The board is powered from an external DC power supply.
