Freescale introduces one-stop-shop connectivity MCU to the 32-bit ColdFire® product family. The MCF5225x family integrates on-chip USB, Ethernet, CAN and encryption for various application requirements. With ready-to-go Freescale MQX software solution, training resources and a suite of third-party solutions, customers can easily design for any connectivity application.

The MCF5225x family can run up to 76MIPS at 80 MHz core frequency. It offers up to 512 KB flash and 64 KB SRAM. The external bus interface provides flexibility to add additional memory or simple peripherals. These and other features make the MCF5225x devices ideal for applications that require a broad range of connectivity peripherals and high performance.
