Arrow and Atmel bring you a design challenge employing the world renowned low-power 8-bit AVR® flash microcontroller. The smarter the design, the better chance to win a smart fortwo car.

If your design delivers high performance, low power consumption, and flexibility, you could be eligible to win one of three top prizes from Arrow and Atmel at the Embedded Systems Conference, Silicon Valley 2010.

Registration

• Thank you for your submissions. The November 30, 2009 entry deadline has passed.

Semi-finalists Announcement

• The top semi-finalists will be selected by our judging panel and and notified via email on Friday, December 18, 2009.

Finalists Announcement

The top 10 finalists will be announced on this website on February 19, 2010. Complimentary Atmel hardware (up to a $200 value) will be provided to finalists to implement their designs that meet the contest criteria.

Final Submission

• The 10 finalists should submit their designs on hardware by March 19, 2010 in order to be eligible for the winning prizes.

And finally, the design contest winners selected by judges will be announced at the Embedded Systems Conference, Silicon Valley, on April 27, 2010.

• Three winners will be notified and flown to San Jose, CA, to present their designs and receive prizes.
