RoHS compliancy status and lead-free status on millions of components available through Arrow’s Component Information Services

Arrow Electronics is committed to supporting the research and compliancy needs of our customers by working aggressively to provide critical environmental data via our Component Information Services. Environmental data including RoHS and lead-free compliancy status on more than five million components has been collected from Arrow's component suppliers and added to Ubidquidata™. This proprietary database fuels the individual services of Arrow Risk Manager (which includes Global Explorer) and Arrow Alert to provide customers with a unique set of information and tools that deliver critical procurement, obsolescence and environmental data in one central location.

Subscribers to Arrow Risk Manager (and Global Explorer) now have visibility into the RoHS and lead-free status of over five million components. This figure continues to increase extensively as information is made available from Arrow's 600+ global suppliers. Subscribers to Risk Manager will be able to query the status of parts (on either one or multiple parts at a time), and use the Find Similar / Compare or Cross Reference features to identify alternate and available RoHS compliant parts. Critical manufacturing data and material composition necessary to ensure compliancy is also stored within our database and accessible to subscribers as part of the current basic subscription. Environmental data is available at the component and Bill of Materials level and is downloadable to users' desktops.

Arrow Alert subscribers have the option to receive email announcements on changes to the environmental status of their monitored parts.
